The renowned Food Festival at SSTH Passugg returns this May

Students will serve the food in their traditional clothes, and the visitors can move literally from Canada across to Asian countries such as Korea, Vietnam, India and China and on to Africa, the Middle East and South America. Of course a number of European countries, such as France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland, are also presenting their specialities.
A Swiss and Thai traditional band, whisky and cigars degustation, and different presentations such as molecular kitchen, calligraphy or sushi making will make this outstanding event most enjoyable.

The Food Festival is only one of a number of projects students teams work on during the the last year of the three year program at SSTH. The team is multi-national, linking the German and English speaking students. It is definitely the most demanding projects, as the team is responsible for the organisation of the event from beginning to the end. The team has to plan the budget and the marketing activities, the organisation of the food preparation, and last but not least the organisation of the day itself, with more than 2000 visitors.
Originally, and for more than ten years, the Food Festival was a school internal event. Finally the idea to present the multi-national environment of the school to the public was born. The event has become more and more popular over the last years and is now a fixed event for the Alumni and also for local visitors.
Visit us, for a super tasteful experience, at the next Food Festival: Saturday, May 2, 2009.
