77 students on internship from Swiss School

Beginning of June 77 students from Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality in Chur/Passugg began their internship, which is part of the study plan to finally receive the diploma. For either 6 or 12 months they will be gaining work experience in a department of the hospitality industry, such as in the food & beverage departments including banquet and room service, kitchen, front and back office, administrations or marketing and events.

11 out of the 77 students are doing their internship in countries such as United Kingdom, Norway, Austria, Canada, South Africa, China and Korea. Remarkable is that 3 students from the German speaking division decided to absolve their practical experience in China.



Within Switzerland the Swiss School students belong to the staff crew of well reputed hotels. Students from the English speaking division are on training in the newly opened Kempinski Grand Hotel in Geneva, in the Hotel Baur au Lac, the Savoy Hotel Baur en Ville, the Dolder Golf Club and the Hotel Arabella/Starwood Neues Schloss, all situated in Zurich. Additionally two students are working in the only Japanese Hotel in Switzerland, the Hotel Ryokan Hasenberg near Zurich.
