Tell us a little about your work history and your experience with the hospitality industry:

- Before studying and during my Brussels times in college extensive work experience in F&B: Bars, Nightclub, Restaurants, Banquets and Conferences
- Started working the basics of hotel sales as Group & Banquet Sales Executive, then Sales Manager.
- From there been hired as Manager Intranet Services to be webmaster for the companies intranet.
- First exposure to online Marketing through translation of starwoodhotels.com and established SEM campaign.
- Currently supporting 51 hotels in regards to Online Marketing and Distribution and overall Marketing support.

What drives you...and what are the elements of hospitality and your job that really interest you?

Always interested in expanding my horizon and performed many internships in Taj Mahal Mumbai, Maritim Bonn, Social and Fitness Club in Luxembourg and many smaller experiences.

The hotel industry is my passion in life - taking care of Guests and making them enjoying their stay gives me great satisfaction and I'm sincerely enjoying it. Now in my current job I enjoy dealing with many different hotels and being part of their extended management team. There is always something going on somewhere and most of the time it's dealing with exciting projects.

Traveling and meeting new people is an important part of my daily job and it's great to learn from different places, cultures and people.

The online world, which is my focus for the moment is especially exciting as it's a fast moving field and has new ventures and projects almost every day. My favorite quote is by Mario Andretti “If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.”
