Students from IST Nepal complete training with the Regency Intercontinental Bahrain

Building Bridges on Training & Development with Nepali Trainees - Nepali trainees Conclude Exposure Training
Six Nepali Students from Nepal School of Hospitality and Tourism have concluded their Cross Exposure training. They received their certificates awarded by the General Manager Jean Baptiste Pigeon and Executive Assistant Manager Fahad Al Doy. A small gathering was held in the HR department to celebrate their success. The trainees spent 3 months in the hotel moving to various departments and getting acquainted with the hotel operations in different areas as part of their hotel school requirements.
Anamika Dahal, Kavita Gurung, Suchita Bhaju, Dipesh Subedi, Lokendra Chanda and Poshan Raj have enjoyed their stay at the InterContinental Regency Bahrain.
"It is not easy to be away from your family but the three months I have spent here training in different departments has been very beneficial to my understanding of the hotel industry and its operations. " said Anamika.
"We enjoyed the friendship we develop with other staffs. All the managers and supervisors have been very helpful and supportive and we would like to thank everybody for accommodating us and for helping us with our school requirements." Poshan added.
Mr Abbas Faraj, HR Director said that more and more partnership with other hotel schools are in progress. "We expect a more dynamic relationship with several hotel schools in the future so that we can also benefit from their expertise. We provide them with on-the-job experience within our operations and we also tap them for human resources development in terms of training, sharing knowledge and skills."
