The Competition: Share your views and experiences in the form of an
original article / story (minimum 250 words, maximum 2000 words) with or without photos / pictures on any one of the topics below:

• My experiences in the Hospitality Industry
• What makes a good Hotelier?
• Any Hospitality & Tourism related trend or innovation
• Hospitality education - a review of a school, university or a course you've taken
• Things to do / not to do when you're a ________ (job position in the hospitality / tourism industry)
• Career - tips / advice / experience for those choosing the hospitality or tourism industry
• The Hospitality Industry in pictures: ______________ (pictures or photos must be your own, and topic can be serious or humorous)

Who's Eligible:
All alumni from SSH (SSTH) / HTF, Merit Ooty, HTW and other hospitality
schools, as well as hospitality educators and professionals who are members on the site.Why are we doing this?
To get the information and sharing of experiences, tips, ideas, memories flowing on the site in a fun way that involves everyone.

The Prize:
A free homepage for a year (www.thetalentjungle.com/yourname) and a lifetime unique forwarding email address (yourname@thetalentjungle.com). A personal homepage is a great platform for career, networking and visibility -
prize represents a total value of at least $150 - $200, including web design and hosting.

How to send your submissions:
Just email any text and pictures / photos you have to admin(at)thetalentjungle.com with the Subject "Talent Jungle Summer Competition Submission" - your submission will
be posted in the articles section of the website (latest 10 entries visible on the front page) and if applicable, also on the
Tourism & Hospitality Diaries Blog. Deadline for submissions is 31st August 2006 (Thursday).

How will the winner be judged?

• MERIT and BUZZ: the winner will be judged by a panel of members based on the buzz generated by an entry, i.e. the number of unique views, votes, comments, etc and the overall merit of the submission, i.e. content, style, relevance, etc.
• Winner will be announced on the site on the 3rd of September, 2006.

General Terms and Conditions:

• Only registered members onwww.thetalentjungle.com/alumni can participate. Registration is free.
• Submissions must be original - plagiarized work will be disqualified.
• Participants must be from the hospitality / tourism industry or be connected to it in some way.
• Any emails sent to this 'thetalentjungle.com' address will forward to your chosen email account at Yahoo, Hotmail, or other provider. Lifetime indicates that of the website, i.e. as long as the website is up and running, bar server downtime or extenuating circumstances. 
• The homepage will be designed for you with the information and photos / pictures you provide and can be spread over 3 pages and upto 2 attachments (e.g. your Resume) with a total maximum website size of 5 MB. Upto 3 information updates can be done for you during the year. Initial design may take 1-2 weeks to complete after information is received.
• Fraudulent and duplicate views, votes, etc will be appropriately screened out in choosing a winner.
• In the event of insufficient entries (less then 5), thetalentjungle.com has the right to withdraw this promotion.
• No adult, political or material which is in any way considered offensive will be accepted.
• This competition is conducted on an informal, social level and the site, owner, administrator or users will in no way be held liable in any legal or other 'disputes'.
