Sheraton announces partnership with Microsoft for The Link to keep hotel guests connected

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Microsoft Corp. announced today a partnership to implement products and services at the “Link @ Sheraton,” its signature communications hub rolling out in Sheraton lobbies this year. Under the agreement, Sheraton will also co-brand and rename the space “The Link @ Sheraton experienced with Microsoft.” The partnership is one component of a comprehensive effort to enhance and differentiate the guest experience at Sheraton's 408 hotels across 75 countries, currently rolling out globally.

The Westin Dubai opens to guests, offers opening special over Summer!

The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, which threw the hottest opening bash in Dubai last week, has now opened it's doors to guests and the hotel occupancy is already looking strong, according to sources. The Westin Dubai, the brand's flagship resort property in the Middle East and the only hotel of its kind in the UAE, is also offering a limited-time internet special for bookers on its official website.

Great Idea, Bad execution? The Marriott TownePlace Suites dance video

Was having a look at Marriott's Youtube channel and happened across this new dance video Marriott has added for TownePlace Suites:


David Elsewhere is everywhere in the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Check out his gravity-defying dance moves. Don't try this at a home. Instead, try it at TownePlace Suites. Let the new hotel design move you. Enjoy and pass it around.

Frankly, love the idea but the watching the video the whole way through was quite a painful task (unlike the earlier International Ad Marriott released featuring various dance moves coming together)... not sure if Marriott plans on using snippets for a TV ad campaign, but short doses of this concept may be just what the Ad doctor recommends!
