Swiss Hotel Schools - 97 new Hoteliers MADE at SSTH Passugg
Mr. Peter P. Tschirky, CEO and president of the executive board of the Grand Resorts Bad Ragaz congratulated and encouraged the graduates in his speech to approach their professional career without blinkers and a sound self-confidence. The new generation of hoteliers will influence the future of the hospitality sector and therefore young professionals are important for every company.
52 students of the English speaking department SSH Swiss School of Hotel and Tourism Management received the Swiss Higher Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management or the Post Graduate Diploma in International Hospitality Management. Ms. Zhang from China was awarded the prize for the best grade average of 5.61 points out of 6 and Ms. Wang from China wrote the best diploma paper with the title “How foreign cultures influence the Chinese youth”. The graduates are from Switzerland, Lithuania, Norway, the Russian Federation, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Saudi-Arabia, South Africa, India, China, South Korea and Vietnam.
In the German speaking department HTF Hotel- und Touristikfachschule 45 students received the diploma “Hôtelière-Restauratrice HF respectively Hôtelier-Restaurateur HF”. The majority of the graduates are from Switzerland and Germany. After the diploma ceremony a delicious gala diner was celebrated with entertainment and big emotions.
